album/single release: The Denial Twist cover art, B-side and release date revealed
XL reveals information about the Stripes new single. there are 3 versions of the single with 3 different covers.
the CD has the studio version with a new cover song. one 7" has the same songs and the other 7" has the live version of The Denial Twist and As Ugy As I Seem.
The singles are scheduled to be released on November 14, 2005.

a second message from jack within one week about the now infamous 'inchophone'.
it seems as though he was upset by comments made by those 'real fans' who couldn't get the rare merchandise that he was trying to get to them.

Pitchfork Media reports The Stripes will be the first band ever to play the Daily Show.
We always knew Jack White was flamboyant and brilliant, but funny? I guess that moustache is pretty hilarious, but he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who can take a joke, y'know? Well, he'd better get ready to shake that funny bone, because on Thursday, December 1, the White Stripes will become the first band ever to perform live on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart."

there was a new message from jack posted on the official site today.
jack talks about a limited edition mini record player that is going to be available only at shows for the 'real fans'. it will come with every white stripes record in a 3 inch format.
sounds cool jack!
i'll be sure to check it out (and hopefully purchase it) at the detroit shows this week.
